As often as we can, we visit the refugee camp near Dunkirk [France]. There we mainly hand out shoes, food or a simple cup of black tea. Alongside providing some power to charge their phones, we also think about the children, by bringing games and small toys. Through these simple actions, we try to build relationships and listen to the many heartbreaking stories. 

Whenever we have the chance, we share about the love of Christ, who knows where we come from and where we go through. Handing out Bibles in their native language and praying for people is a very common action there on the field.

Every trip to ‘the jungle of Dunkirk’ moves us in some way and makes us keep on wanting to go back.
