‘It’s better to give then to receive’
Sharing is Caring was born from a deep awareness that suffering and injustice are not far away—they are happening right in our backyard.
In and around Dunkirk, France, hundreds of refugees live in makeshift tent camps. Men, women, and children who have left everything behind endure uncertainty, waiting for a sign of hope, longing for safety, and dreaming of a dignified future.
We could not stand by.
Guided by our Christian identity, we go to meet these people, learn their names, and stand beside them. We provide practical help to meet their immediate needs, but we also offer a listening ear, human connection, and spiritual encouragement.
Through small yet heartfelt gestures, we aim to bring solidarity, hope, and love—exactly where it is needed most.
Refugee Support

Every time our team steps into the refugee camp, we are there for around 250 people. People with stories, with worries, with hope that is often hanging by a thread.
We bring small, simple things that can make a world of difference in that moment:
a warm cup of tea, a Liège waffle, electricity to charge a phone and stay in touch with home, a toothbrush, toothpaste and soap.
Where possible, we also distribute clothing, tents, and sleeping bags. For the children, we bring small toys—something to hold on to, something that lets them just be a child again.
With board games and live music, we create moments of relief. Moments to laugh, to forget, to simply be human in a situation that so often takes that away.
In a harsh and inhumane reality, we try to bring hope, warmth, and humanity.
Will you help make that possible?
